Sammanfattning av Stone Cold, V17.

I’m reading a book called Stone cold by Robert Swindles and the book is about two completely different guys. I’ve read to page 20. 

One guy is called Link but that’s not his real name. Link is just the name he says when anybody asks and that’s not often. Link lived in a very happy family until his dad ran off with a receptionist in 1991. He was fourteen at the time. Link's mom got a boyfriend named Vincent after that and Link kind of hates him. Vincent is an alcoholic and he’s also about fifty years old. He is one of those old people that tries to be like the younger generation. Vincent locked the door one time when he was trying to get in to his own house after a long day out. It was pretty late and Vincent just wouldn’t open the door so he ran off to his sister's house, Carole. Carole let him spend the night there and then he left in the morning. Vincent started to slap him when he got home and his reason was that Link had made his mom worry all night. Link never returned to that house after that. He slept at his sisters house at first but they got tired of him being there all the time so he took off to London and now hi's a homeless on the streets. 

The other guy is called Shelter. We don't know very much about Shelter except that he is about fifty years old and he has a really good self esteem. He hates the street people and he just wants them gone. He thinks that they make the streets look trashy and disgusting. Shelter is an old soldier and his own mission now is to clean the streets, even though it’s not his job.
